PLUG, Please allow me to invite all PLUG members to our first ever Ethical Hacking/Security Seminar. Dubbed as Practical eSecurity: Hacking and Defence Essentials, it is primarily aimed at IT consultants, security/network/systems admins, IS auditors and security professionals. This 4-day cutting edge training will tackle every (advance) aspect of securing/breaking/hardening Unix and Windows systems as well as DMZ servers (mail/web/dns). Practical eSecurity pushes the scope even further by incorporating breaking and securing wireless networks (WEP).
As we all know, the best way to stop your enemy is to know the enemy. Practical eSecurity covers the latest techniques and methodologies used in hacking and securing - with the proper know-how and tools, the attendees will learn the necessary fundamentals only known by security experts with years in experience. This is a perfect opportunity to get yourself or your security/network staff in the forefront of network security arena. Practical eSecurity covers the same aspect with more hands-on training at a lower cost than Foundstone's Ultimate Hacking Course ($4000/pax, www.foundstone.com ) and E&Y's Extreme Hacking ($5000, www.ey.com ) - excluding airfare and accomodations. Security experts from US and Australia together with our consultants will handle the training this coming June 18-21 (8am-5pm) at Shangri-la (lunches/snacks will be served). We were initially looking at Foundstone but the cost wasn't very practical in our own local standards so we decided to bring the guys who made the highly successful Foundstone leg in Sydney/Melbourne last November 2001 to lower our cost. Hopefully, we can get at least 20 participants and a maximum of 40. Course outline/registration form is available at http://www.isentry.ph/events/downloads/seminar_course_outline.pdf or email ust at [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you're interested, please register before June 11 so you could still avail of the special early bird rate.
