Someone asked about md5 checksum for the Bayanihan Linux "v1" ISO.
For the ISO file at http://www.dtech.com.ph/~andre/asti-beta/
I got: 635,142,144 bytes --- a2923a28163d054082c6076751aa6e58

For the ISO file at http://bayanihan.asti.dost.gov.ph/
635,207,680 bytes --- 1ae15028d5a5b7e079db814f547c6492

The boot.zip file looks the same on both ASTI and dctech:
1421125 bytes --- e85dee3ab5a87d76881e691841327dd8

>From dctech site (7 hops away), it took about six and a half
hours @ ~26 Kbyte/sec average with no disconnections.
>From ASTI site (10 hops away), it took about 17 and a half
hours @ ~10 Kbyte/sec average, with 14
disconnections (with auto-retry and continuation).

I hope BL will play well in multi-boot situation, and as
host OS for Vmware 3.1. For some people, being able to
run both Windows and a Unix at the same time is only
workable transition path. So I hope BL satisfies this
Vmware 3.1 spec for a Red Hat Linux 7.2 host OS:

Red Hat Linux 7.2 -- stock 2.4.7-10, upgrade 2.4.9-7,
upgrade 2.4.9-13, upgrade 2.4.9-21, upgrade 2.4.9-31

(I am assuming that BL is based on RH 7.2.)
