It is not possible to port MAC OS X to Linux or any Unix System. MAC OS X is
another kind of Unix. Its core kernel is Darwin, a BSD-like Unix. It uses X
as a graphical server and Aqua + Quartz as its window-manager, or graphical
user interface.

Here's the comparison to make things clear:

Operating System : MAC OS X
kernel : Darwin
graphical server : X-windows (the same server Linux uses)
Window-manager, GUI : Aqua & Quartz

Operating System : any Linux distribution (Red Hat, Debian, etc..)
kernel : Linux
graphical server : X-windows
Window-manager, GUI : KDE, Gnome, Window Maker, Enlightenment, etc..

If you mean to say it's possible run Acqua on Linux since it uses the same
graphical server, I don't know.

If you envy Acqua's look and feel, it is possible to make your KDE look like
Acqua, or even better than Acqua. There are numerous KDE themes on
www.kde-look.org.

Here are my favorite themes for KDE:

1. High Performance Liquid by Mosfet - looks like Acqua, but is much better. I
use this in combination with Conectiva Crystal icon theme (ice edition)
2. Acqua (theme for KDE by Aronnax)
2. Luna (Windows XP theme by Aronnax)
3. Keramik (now the default theme for KDE 3.1!)

If you like, I could send you screenshots of my desktop. People envy me,
thought I was running a Mac, when in fact it's just a beat-up AMD-K6-500mhz.
