PLDT? But they don't give out static addresses, do they? Neither, in theory,
does NOW, but I've had the same IP address for maybe over a year by now.

And, to veer the discussion back on-topic, you can check
http://www.linux.davecentral.com (hope it's still there, haven't checked in a
while) for BBS software. There are even some old DOS-based BBS software titles
that have been ported to Linux, and there's also BinkleyTerm in source. Haven't
checked for binaries or ready-to-run packages, but then I haven't tried hard
enough.
