Just wondering...
Whereas...
1. Network gaming is very popular here in Manila (and Cebu, Bacolod,
Dumaguete, and Baguio, from what I've perosnally seen)...
2. There is a move now get gaming cafes to join an umbrella organization
that will enforce intellectual property rights...
3. Many network gaming cafes charge rock-bottom prices and may not be
able to afford to purchase licensed proprietary software...
Then...
1. What open source alternatives do these gaming cafes have? I've heard
of Unreal, Quake, ana Linux Counterstrike server, but what else is
there?
2. Could this be a niche market that open source could fill?
What do you guys think?
God bless!
