hi guys, I'm thinking of using MRTG to monitor latency issues of a client-server application. We have a client that connects to a db server and these 2 are on separate sites. I would like to have information like when session started, session stopped, window sizes, number of retransmission on a per-server-client transaction.
From what I see on MRTG, it provides output but not very detailed. I am planning of putting many MRTG on every subnet where transaction passes then have all the data co-related. Is detailed reporting possible with MRTG? Or what would you recommend about network analysis and tuning? Thanks. Onie _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
