Hi Paul, What FTP client are you using? It looks like your inside a firewall. If your firewall allows masquerading/ip forwarding, you can use the Passive mode of your FTP program to connect to the remote FTP server.
Or if your proxy allows you to connect using FTP, you can use it to connect to the FTP server. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Exala" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, October 14, 2002 3:31 PM Subject: [plug] ftp problem > MS Windows 98 > > ftp my.ip address > user: test > Pass:*********** > 230 user test logged in. > ftp>ls or dir > 200 PORT command successful. > 425 Can't create data socket (192.168.0.100,20):addres > already in use. > > Anybody can help me with this error > > Thanks > Paul > > > > > __________________________________________________ > Do you Yahoo!? > Faith Hill - Exclusive Performances, Videos & More > http://faith.yahoo.com > _ > Philippine Linux Users Group.
