http://www.samba.org and read some documentations on how to
do it ! :)
if you compile samba from tarball the default location of config file is in
your /usr/local/samba/lib
here is the basic config for samba:
workgroup = YOURWORKGROUP
server string = My file Server
hosts allow = 192.168.0. 127.0.0.
security = share
[RH-8.0]
comment = Installer
browseable = yes
path = /root
public = yes
writable = yes
printable = no
just only a basic
