Not a bad idea if you have a dedicated box and you don't configure it a lot. that's what I did with lnx-bbc last year, not knoppix. added some software like the newer openssh in /usr/local. Knoppix is also the reason why i don't dual boot linux and windows on a peecee anymore. configs on the floppy, mount via localdrive/nfs/samba your big files or binaries. > Heh heh heh, couldn't resist.
