Yes.  Parted is quite useful, and my classes on Linux at
Ateneo uses it to repartition the hard disk before installing
Linux.  We just have two problems with it.

1. parted can not handle NTFS, which is what most NT folks
will be using.

2. parted is not included with the RedHat 7.3 installation CD.
Would you know if it is in the new RH8.0?
