Hi Andre,

We're also doing some work on 'l-ane'.  I've done some initial scans
through the code, and it seems quite dirty (even had syntax errors out of
the tarball!).  I'm thinking of rewriting some stuff using perl-POE.

It's an uphill climb, but if your friend is interested co-development, and
sharing the fruits afterwards, we're open to that.

I already bought a cash drawer and am saving up for an EPSON POS printer,
BTW.
