no offense meant to victor but i will use his post to provide my own thoughts on the subject which is
why is this being discussed here? somebody already said to keep this discussions based on technical merits and our mailbox are already getting full of spiel about intangible things. if you guys will continue in trying to win each other then could you move it to plug-misc, a venue created for such discussions.
yes i am a nobody that doesnt even have the capabilities/capacity to contribute to a majority of the open-source projects. all im trying to do here is to direct you guys to a proper venue. i would love reading this discussion there but not here because this was supposed to be a technical list. a small amount of non-technical mails is acceptable but not in this quantity.
heck, even some of the technical plug-list vets i encountered here are keeping quiet because this is not a technical discussion anymore.
