sometimes, bragging about your fav distro isn't good enough. so let's do it with desktop screenshots!
send 4 types (Office,Multimedia,Internet,Gaming) of screenshots that have any of the ff items:
- Office Productivity: word processors, spreadsheets, calculator, etc.
- Multimedia: movie/mp3/streaming/dvd player, graphics editor, ringtone/mms composer, etc.
- Internet: web browser, email client, p2p client, chat client, pc-to-sms client, ssh client, etc.
- Gaming: tux racer, Quake, etc...
*terminal/console guys can also join: - Office Productivity: emacs... - Multimedia: ascii art, aplay,... - Internet: lynx, emacs,... - Gaming: nethack...
mail your tarballed jpeg screenshots to ariz at digi dot com dot ph (please, not to this list)
having the subject: My Linux Desktop
or just me send the link to your website so that i can send bots to fetch screenshots for me, (just kiddin, i'll do it manually =D )
all entries will be posted online and the winner will be determined according to popularity. the winner will receive the ff: - Linux T-Shirt - Linux Mug - Linux Items (still to be determined) - plus cash (only if there's an additional sponsor).
*the items can also be sold to interested individuals / non-winners. **int'l subscribers can also join as long as shipping !> prize(s).
