hi running redhat ever since i started..I'm a home user with a DSL connection, managing 2-3 servers at home (one of them "collocated" from my friend, also RedHat). Always have been wanting to switch to debian, I hear good things about it in this PLUG and the other PLUG (philadephia LUG). why i wanted to switch: RedHat changes so much in every release, and their RPM system sucks, IMHO. They have a network update called "up2date" that is GREAT but costs money ($5 /month). Withouth up2date the RPM files are just hard to figure out manually (had to be installed in a certain order).
