Hi all!
I've noticed something on all of my Red Hat 9.0 installations. Whenever I
use the route command to display my kernel routing tables I find a route
to the 169.254.0.0 network. I can remove it without any problems though
(except in one case where I kept getting a kernel error; I fixed it by
reinstalling the nfs-tools package).
I've done a dig on the IP and got nothing. A whois, however, gets this:
# whois 169.254.0.0

Anyone know exactly what this means? Is this a hack attempt? Or is it
harmless? Maybe a bug?
God bless!
