Fellow Free Software Enthusiasts,
Michael Poblete ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), one of the growing number of
non-ASTI volunteers helping out with Bayanihan GNU/Linux development,
has announced on the Bayanihan GNU/Linux Developers Mailing List[1] that
there will be a virtual meeting of developers and volunteers. To wit:
What: Developers' Virtual Meeting
When: Friday, September 12, 2003
From 3:00pm until 5:00pm
(1500h - 1700h, UTC+0800)
Where: Bayanihan Chatroom on the Free Network Group's IRC Network
Channel: #Bayanihan
Server: irc.free.net.ph
Agenda: Bayanihan Linux version 3 development
I invite all interested PLUGgers to join this virtual meeting.
PLUGgers who are more interested in "general PLUG talk" than in
Bayanihan development talk are invited to hang out with us on the #PLUG
channel on the same IRC network. There is a growing number of us who
hang out and "learn by osmosis", as Eric Pareja (aka pusakat) would put
it. There are a lot of "quiet times", but when the activity heats up
things can get really exciting, and you can learn something new
everyday.
Eric has also put up some neat statistics[2] for activity on #PLUG for
those who are interested. He also hosts a wiki[3] for us "Irreverent
Regular Chatters". :)
See you online!
