Star Office is proprietary. However, the open-source OpenOffice (from which Star Office is based), as far as I know, already supports right to left (RTL) languages such as Hebrew. KOffice, another excellent office suite for KDE also has support for RTL since KDE 3.1 It's good to have many choices of office suites for Linux. The honest competition among them fuels even greater healthy innovation. While Microsoft uses its monopoly to stifle innovation. Am I glad we have excellent and fairly robust free/open source software! :-) optimus -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
