Sir,

You are not running a winmodem based on the PCTel chip; that is why the
compile failed.

different from the PCTel chipset).

In the future, if you suspect that you have a winmodem, download and run
the scanModem script from http://www.linmodems.org/ to figure out the
chipset on it. If there are any problems, feel free to drop a note to
the LinModems discussion list at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
