we are implementing a samba enviroment in the office, with a headless server running on a RH9, with cups as printer utils. However, whenever, there are times that we need to cancel or purge the printing, because, either we have sent a wrong file to be printer or we just dont need it anymore. At present, all we can do is just finish the print jobs, even to the extent that the file consist of 250 - 700 pages, which is very costly and lots of waste in terms of paper and powder.
1. How do i purge the print jobs, thru text command, since, im using ssh-putty to connect to the server? 2. How do i know the status of the printing jobs. Since there is no info wth regard to this when i execute "smbstatus" ? jeremy -- ______________________________________________ Check out the latest SMS services @ http://www.linuxmail.org This allows you to send and receive SMS through your mailbox.
