Here is an exchange of email between myself and BPI.
It is out-of-topic, but concerns linux, so I thought
I should post it here.

email to expressonline:

I use mozilla 1.6 running on Linux 2.4.24 with
glibc-2.3.2. I use this for browsing the Internet,
reading mail, posting to egroups, etc. The only
time I am forced NOT to use mozilla is when I connect
to www.bpiexpressonline.com, because your website
works only with Windows running either IE or netscape.

I am PLEASED to inform you that Windows is the world's
mosty virus-prone operating system in the world, and
you are forcing your customers to use Windows
whenever they need to do SECURE online transactions with
your bank. Don't you find this a BIG CONTRADICTION?
Don't you know that the Internet sites that have gone
down due to virus attacks are Windows sites? Why are
you waiting for that ONE BIG attack before you yourselves
move your system to a more secure OS, like Sun/Solaris,
HP/UX, IBM/AIX, PC/Linux, PC/FreeBSD? And more
importantly, why do you FORCE your customers to use
Windows, even if that is contrary to their RELIGIOUS
beliefs?

Please ....

Thats why i opted to use a different bank which is more open to these things.
