i think surecom lancard can activated using tulip driver, run 'modprobe tulip' to load the driver,type netconfig as root, there you can setup your domain, ip address etc. and it would be saved on your rc startup scripts
then make sure to uncomment line '#/sbin/modprobe tulip' in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules
