Ok.

So going by the answers I have gotten so far, I will conclude that someone
who uses RH's high level GUI tools exclusively for setting up networks would
easily adapt and not object to their absence... and also that everyone out
there who writes 'Linux sysadmin experience' on their resume will have no
problem with using vi to edit .conf files.
