hey guys, August 9-13 is the CSIT week here at APC, and I've had this idea since about 2 years ago to actively promote Linux use here in the Philippines. What I want to propose is that we get the Government CIO Group here (yes, there is such an animal), the PSITE (Philippine Society of IT Educators), and of course, PLUG, to discus with them, apart from the benefits of Linux, that there ARE professionals here in the Philippines... ------- Is this open to the public? Can non-APC students drop by? Just curious... -- JM Ibanez http://www.livejournal.com/~jmibanez/ http://www.mycgiserver.com/~butiki/ -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
