PDP 11s? VAX? Now *that's* really old. I'm not into inventing anything (yet) so I don't have much to proclaim (but yes, I do some devel for free sw I'm interested in, like many do). Nice quote, but its overused. I like 'The Future Is Free' by Sergio Amadeu better, hehe ;) > > Personaly, I'm a big fan of you and every penoys that > contributes to the linux commun. specialy the ones > doing it in FSG, like debian. Perhaps some people might be also interested in sending in po's in their native dialect (Bicol, Ilonggo, Ilokano, Pangasinense, etc.) just as I've said in an earlier thread. I know this is _small_ project in comparison to the major l10n/i18n incorporations in Gnome and KDE, but I think that's exactly what *we* need... Indeed there will be others who think of the whole thing as an exercise in futility, but I'm a firm believer of cultural identity and our obligation to preserve it. > And I dont want to see some other people being descriminated > in some ng's/ml's by some forayngers, even calling them > names like 'asian-monkey programming' (believe me, Ive > seen it all).. as much as I dont want seing people > who act like tamed puppies in some 'superiour' groups, > then act like 'superiours' themselves when inside their > 'homeland' group. Sarge probably will have 0.9s, unless Tobias decides to change the GTK2 File widget and add more po-files. And thanks for the advice about being a _kook_. Actually, I do _cook_ a lot, it actually is part of how I earn my living (aside from teaching). So I guess there is a link between culinary and techie hacks... Cheers, Zakame -- |=-------------ZAK B.
