Experiences? ...pretty straightforward -- just like a PC.
No special requirement except that it took me sometime to find
a module to work with built-in Lucent LT Winmodem...
had to load kernel source to compile the source...
Don't have a driver for my Linksys WPC54G (802.11g) PCMCIA card
though...taking a look at those Linuxant modules...

Basically just memory and hard disk.  Disks are a common now.

Why not -- I use it for a lot of things... mainly trouble shoot servers
(you can change ip on the fly), experimenting setups before rolling on
production...etc..

RH AS 2.1 -- am going to try RH9...maybe fedora.
