From now on I would like to suggest that we refrain from the he / she,
and replace said words with "multi-celled beings." This will include
all genders, and even those who are confused about their gender :)

Sorry folks...it's been one of those days :)

Subject: [plug] Netiquette Guide

I admit that after a long while, it's only now that I cared to read the
Netiquette Guide written by Pablo M. It taught me to be more careful
with my mails to the list.

Anyway, I'd like to point Pablo's attention to that sentence that says,
"Besides your reader gets irritated when he is forced to go through a
lot of garbage that you force on him." No offense meant, but can we
rewrite that sentence to make it gender-sensitive? Of course, we do not
mean that "your reader" is none but a male person. But, to be more
gender-aware, can we instead use "s/he" or "he or she" and "him/her"?
Others might push for gender-affirmation by suggesting use of "she" and
"her" all along. But that's for the writer to decide.
