sirs:

thanx very much for all your replies. i would like to correct my problem statement,
apparently i found out what was wrong. My problem was that Apache wasn't parsing .asp files for SSIs. So what i did was to put
Options +Includes

in my <Directory ...> then

               AddType text/html .asp
               AddHandler server-parsed .asp

in the main part. But it didn't "fully" work. The part of the web page that was being called by the include did show up, but not all parts. It turned out that the include file was calling another include file (.inc). And now this is the part where i'm having problems.

Did i do this right? Is there another way i can make apache parse asp files?
Thanx. GOD bless!
