I have pretty simple DNS needs, as do most ISP's. The vast majority of
the domains under my control have a web site at some address, amybe a
few other subdomains, and the email on my server. So I created a simple
system where I put the relevant information into a file (domain name, ip
address, and the TXT string) and use a script to generate the zone file.
It keeps track of serial numbers and all that, too.

This way, I have the simplicity and I'm still using bind, so I can do
anything I need.
