hello all,

a company i'm consulting with is looking at MS-Exchange. they'd *like*
to go with a free/opensource or at least *cheaper* work-alike, but exchange
has all these features (calendaring, public folders, works with outlook,
etc).

can anyone point at free/open source software that *works*like* exchange
*with*outlook*? unfortunately, they're probably not going to be able to
convince the users to drop outlook. web based is nice, but outlook is
just too convenient for them.

i'll suggest to them only software that people on this list have actually
worked with, and to good effect. please don't point at software that
you've heard about but haven't worked with yet (google has already
provided me with quite a few of those, i just don't have the two or
three weeks to actually test every one of them).

thanks for any input.
