Hi,

The speedtouch 510i is a router/modem. You will have to enable NAT to
allow your linux box to use the speedtouch as the gateway.

Your eth0 IP address can stay as is as long as you configure the
ethernet port of the speedtouch to use the same block. It might be
better to use DHCP as Peter suggests. You will then have to configure
your router to login via PPPoA (input the username, password, etc).
