Ditto. I'm using Trustix distro for a Postfix-Courier
IMAP+SpamAssassin+Amavis-new+ClamAV and I just do a
swup --upgrade every once in a while. Haven't
actually worried about clamav since the day I
installed them (about two weeks ago). The log files
shows no problems from clamav and/or freshclam so far.
Don;t read much trouble on them from the mailing
lists either.

But as always, your mileage may vary.
