That's a good way to secure your box. however, be aware that many things you'll want to do will stop working the normal way. you'll need to learn and install security level specific workarounds (e.g., you need to add yourself to certain groups so you can run development tools (compiler, linker, etc). if you have software that you build from source, you might need to make adjustments there too. I'm not discouraging you from running at high msec levels :), just pointing out that adjustments will be necessary. tiger -- Gerald Timothy Quimpo http://bopolissimus.sni.ph [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Public Key: "gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys 672F4C78" Mene sakhet ur-seveh -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
