I am very much happy that OOo is styles-based. Creation of Templates becomes easy; much more when creating documents based on an existing Template. So a thought ran into my mind. Could it be possible that Writer imitate HTML's CSS behavior when it comes to styles definitions? I was stirred by a question posted here about applying a different template on an existing document. Although there is a work around for that, I just thought it would be nice if changing templates on an existing doc is as easy as having a menu entry "Apply Template". The doc would be heavily tagged and the template defining the styles for those tags.
Just my two cents..
