and like the energizer bunny commercial, this topic keeps on going and
going and going... and at an improper venue at that.
one filipino trait that doesn't fail to amaze me is stubborness. and a
little disregard for the rules.
and if most subscribers in the list are speed-readers of some sort,
michael has already declared that he will not speak on the subject
anymore as he has already expressed his opinion on the matter (or
something like that, check the archives if you want). now opinion is a
great word, especially if you look at it a psychological point of
view. one expresses it and sooner or later a mob will rebuke it. well
the mob has already arrive at the plug mailing list and i hope it
would settle down soon.
i know that i should have kept my mouth shut a long time ago but it
seems the administrators of the list are busy and i was waiting for
somebody with more 'authority' to step forward but i think im also
impatient. :) michael expressed his opinion. most of us here
expressed ours. leave it at that. i already got a new word out of the
whole mish-mash ('ethnocenric') and im already happy with that.
now can we at least drop this subject from the plug mailing list as it
is WAAAAAYYY OT, heck even the Ubuntu word that started it all is
nowhere in the body of the mail and has been replaced with WMD and
corruption and its sorts. I even saw two president names/nicknames. i
dont want to wait for the chicken and egg question to be included in
the whole shebang.
or at least post your sentiments in plug-misc. and stop attacking each
other. its against proper netiquette.
