I am not an admin :).  just suggestion something you could check out on your
side while the admins are looking at things on their side.

can you look at the mail headers of the two emails? if you're subscribed more
than once, the headers will tell you to whom the two copies were sent.  if it's
some other problem, there will be indications in there of what the
problems might
be.  if you find that it's a mailing list issue, then you'll have more
information to
give the admins if they ask.  if it's a configuration issue on your
side, you can
fix it and tell the admins so they can stop looking on their side :).
