Hello! Ours used to be that way, but lately it's been suffering from the "out-of-sync" messages problem -- i.e. messages do reach their intended contacts, but the sequence is all wrong. For instance, if i type
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 the sequence at the other end is 9 8 0 7 4 5 1 3 2 i read somewhere that this is a known problem of 1.4.2/1.4.3, and that a patch was made specifically for this. Unfortunately i haven't been able to find it --- icedtea <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > plug bert wrote: > > >Hi All! > > > > Can anyone suggest a stable jabber server? > jabber > >1.4's buggy, and jabber 2.0.x is a pain to install. > > > > thanks in advance! > > > > > > > > > > my jabber 1.4.2 is currently running smoothly.... > > > > > > > > > -- > Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List > [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) > Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph > Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph > . > To leave, go to > http://lists.q-linux.com/mailman/listinfo/plug > . > Are you a Linux newbie?
