Thanks for all who replied; especially Lawrence. I turned off
chrooting and Postfix can now be reached via port 25. I need this so
that the MUAs can send mail through our box. :)

I intitally wanted Postfix to run chrooted and I believe I have copied
all the necessary files from /var /lib /etc to /var/spool/postfix so
that I can run it chrooted. But then it won't. After I reverted back
to my old master.cf (good thing I backed it up before I messed with
it) and run Postfix un-chrooted, I can now telnet to port 25 (which
means our MUAs can now send mails through this box.)

I was encouraged that someone here (Peter) is running Postfix un-chrooted so I
decided to give it a try. Thanks man.

Hey Lawrence, thanks for saving my hair!
