Gurus, May I request some enlightenment and guidance on the following problem, so I'll know where to start crawling for answers? Our current setup is as follows:
WAN: Subnet1 <-> Router <-> Subnet2 <-> Subnet3 (Proxy Server-Squid2.5.stable1, Website Server, Email Server, Firewall) <-> ISP (DNS here) We have a website server running in Subnet3, with the firewall doing NAT for HTTP requests for the website server. Whenever I type in the URI of our website, it will only load if I bypass the proxy and use the firewall as my default gateway. All other users are in Subnet1 and Subnet2 so they can't use the firewall as their default gateway; and thus the need of the proxy server for internet access. This results in WAN users not being able to browse our own site. Only outside users can see the website. What exactly causes a zero sized reply? All HTTP requests make it past the firewall but somehow on the way back, squid doesn't get anything. Thank you.
