It depdends on your needs though. If you need wifi, 3D editing stuff, etc stick with Mac OS X but if you do lots of linux dev use Linux. =) Airport extreme doesn't work on linux yet. =(

La lang. I'm doing linux programming stuff. I feel more "at home"
doing
it on a linux environment. Even though I can do it on mac os X, I miss
using xemacs etc. (which sucks on mac os x). I might switch back to
mac
os X soon since device support really sucks on mac and install gentoo
or fedora on a virtual pc. Virtual pc license is kinda expensive.

Question: Any guyz here who know some virtual pc friendly distro?

Yup you're right. It's not a Mac unless you have Mac OS installed.
Out
of curiosity, why did you install Linux on your pb?

This may be old news but did you know that Linus Torvalds has just
switched to Mac as his
desktop of choice? Visit this link:

From the article:

"Torvald's response came quickly and succinctly. "My main machine
these
days is a dual 2GHz G5 (aka PowerPC 970) - it's physically a regular
Apple Mac, although it obviously only runs Linux, so I don't think
you
can call it a Mac any more ;)" he said."

Well, he's *not* really using a Mac since he's not using Mac OSX.
It's
more like he's using a PPC machine to run Linux. :D
