Kung ordinaryong user ang gusto mong magsara ng kompyuter at gamit mo ay CLI, gamitin mo ang sudo[1] at i--configure mo ito para ikaw ay bigyan ng `shutdown privileges'. Halimbawa (kung ang iyong username ay itchtoo): sa /etc/sudoers: | # Command specification | Cmnd_Alias SHUTDOWN = /usr/sbin/shutdown | Cmnd_Alias HALT = /usr/sbin/halt | Cmnd_Alias REBOOT = /usr/sbin/reboot | # User specification | itchtoo ALL = NOPASSWD: SHUTDOWN, HALT, REBOOT Sa ganitong paraan pwede mong gawin ang: | [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo shutdown -h now na hindi kailangan ng passwd.
