Not really often, but as needed. Maybe during the weekends, or when I've `dselect install'-ed enough apps to satisfy my update chase, and I still have some spare time connected. With the settings I gave earlier I get an average of 5:1 with a 1k bit of overhead, which gives me an overall transfer rate of about 7 kilobytes per second. On the wee hours, though, I can achieve a blistering (from the dialup perspective ;) speed of 20 k/sec with 15:1 transfer ratio. I'd really want to get connected via a DSL line, but right now it's well above my buying power :-( so I make do with just what I have... -- ZAK B.
