Folks, I just updated one of my machines to Ubuntu Mate 18.04, I am very impressed with it, the whole thing took less than 10 minutes (5 for the install and 5 to get the basic stuff going, try that with Windows!!)
The issue I have run into is Cairo Dock, it only comes up as 2D. I have openGL running it is 3 something which is well beyond what Cairo Dock requires. But I cannot seem to get the 3D effects. Anyone have any idea? I have poked at Google and Cairo Dock pages, what generally comes up is to make sure that OpenGL is going and the rev level is above or beyond what CD requires (Rev 2 of OpenGL) All of the other stuff (Compiz Cube and other effects) in 3D are working great, just this Cairo Dock issue. -- Chuck Hast -- KP4DJT -- I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
