Now that I've switched from Marco to Compiz on Ubuntu MATE 18.04, I
remember one of the annoyances I had with Compiz. The example is when I
save a file to the desktop, Compiz doesn't know that it shouldn't put
file icons behind the menu and task bars on the screen. The icons are
large enough that I can see them and get them, but it's annoying.
Looking at the CompizConfig Settings Manager, I see there are lots of
things to adjust, but I don't know what they call what I'm trying to do,
so I don't know what option to fiddle with.
