  That's interesting. From the little I've read HDMI was originally intended
to connect computers to televisions, and DisplayPort has only one TV
manufacturer who supports it -- according to the Web page I read.

  My Asus motherboards use separate video cards and the Radeon-based cards
have VGA and DVI output; perhaps also HDMI with the RX-550.

  Well, it was a thought, anyway. :-)
