At the clinic we got Google Earth to work on my desktop machine. I recall that we had to enable something related to 3D graphics. I don't recall if that was nVidia specific or not.

My laptop, Lenovo X200 Tablet, does not have nVidia. lshw reports:

                memory    :    d0000000-dfffffff
                ioport    :    1800(size=8)

What do I look for/install to get Google Earth working on the laptop?

I tried running google-earth-pro from a terminal, hoping to see it complain about missing something, but it doesn't report anything.
