I think that your key store in desktop environment (GNOME?) maybe broken/ corrupt.
I assume you're using Network Manager to connect to WiFi. Correct? If yes. Try removing/forgetting your WiFi in Network Manager, then trying to connect again - should ask and store your WiFi password anew.
