If the IP address of the EWS is different that your computer usually has, then yeah, otherwise, how are you going to reach it? You can add an address to a suitable interface with the "ip addr add <yournewipaddr>/<netbits> dev <interface>" command, and then remove it when you are done by replacing "add" with "del".
