Just out of curiosity has anyone considered setting up a dedicated
online meeting space for PLUG?
PLUG is a group with a history and community all on it's own. Given how
much software is available for self-hosting it seems like it might be
time for PLUG to have its own space that people can join rather than
trying to piggyback on someone else's infrastructure. Given that many of
the people here are developers, sysadmins, and technicians in related
fields setting up and maintaining a small server should be trivial.

Jitsi worked great the last time in December - many people attended and
all was fine + Jitsi is free as in freedom and beer - why change.
I personally do not have non-free computer with working headset to
install whatever proprietary SW .... I guess, I could use phone to join
if it is free to (un)install some walled garden app.

Happy New Year.
Do y'all have enough to talk about for PLUG "meeting"?
I have had mixed luck with Jit.si. Stick with it?
Go with Zoom?
