I hadn't thought about that not only is their internet connection via

How does the computer know the printer is available?
What should I be reading?
Thanks again.
You'll need the brand and model of the printer before reading anything
on that subject. You also need to know if the printer is on the network
or if it is plugged in directly via USB.
Ben, he said "their printer is also WiFi connected", so I think we can
infer it's on the network.
I was assuming the printer had its own Wifi but Russell's comment causes
me to wonder if it may be plugged into the TAT box. Hope to to get a
look at it Monday or Tuesday.
But the brand/model is useful information, since it is conceivable
their printer doesn't work with Linux.
I recently inherited an all-in-one Brother something, and printing
works fine (as long as there is ink detected in every cartridge), but
the scanner portion does not work with Linux.
