Tomas, I was not accurate in my description. Using -Nc makes no difference, what's downloaded is a 4096 byte file name; same size as a directory listing. I'm not getting the entire file. In another web page there are *many* files, all .pdf, to be downloaded. I've not found the proper wget command options to download them all. When I try: wget *.pdf that's the name of the file instantly 'downloaded.' I'll look for more detailed help on learning wget.
